Valentine Boxes

Katie and Zach had to make their own boxes at home for Valentines day parties at school this year, so everyone had to  get in on the action.  Morgan made on for her school and Jason colored on a few hearts.

Cheer Camp

Katie did the Burley, Bobcat, High School Cheer Camp this year.  She is next to her friend Amy Christensen.  She had a lot of fun and loved doing it.  Just a moment of sacredness - she came to see me for a few minutes - then back to the cheering gals and did a FABULOUS job.

Everyone has loved from the beginning, except Morgan.  She wasn't sure of the dog and really wouldn't go near her... I am sure with time that will change.  Jason is always hands on with the dog.  One nice thing about a puppy is she will be used to be man-handled by children and will be okay with it.

Meet Cocoa Irish

 She is so little and cute now but I am sure that I will not be happy with myself for giving into Trevor for a puppy.  It will be like having a hyper active child around but at least this one I can put outside, kennel and threaten to give away. :)  I am not a dog lover but for Trevor and the children I will sure give it my best.  If only she could stay this cute and little... then we would only have a few issues.

Celebrating January Birthdays

My Mom and Trevor both have January birthdays so when they came on their way to Utah to go on their trip to Mexico, so jealous, we went to lunch to celebrate.  Upper Crust for the cheese hat, Trevor loved it and Mom let Trevor wear it in honor of her too.

 

Then we came home for a few presents for Bushka. 

Birthdays are fun because we sure don't want the alternative.

Guys Weekend

The guys in the Cox family went to the Maaco Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada on Dec. 22, 2010.  They were all able to go except Trent because of work, darn work.  So my dad drove here picked up Trevor, dropped off my mom.  They headed to Utah got Eric and Garrett then drove to Vegas, Jeff meet them there.  The first rule they laid down was no pictures, not even at the game, so this picture of a ticket is all we have.  They had great time and am glad they did it.  I think it is out of the ordinary things that make life fun, families stronger and fun memories to talk about later.

New Year's Eve - Jump time Idaho

We got into Boise and let the festivities begin. 

Jump Time Idaho {is AWESOME!!!!}

It is a play place that is soooo fun.  The front two parts are great big trampolines with a place in the back with a few blow up places for the smaller children.  Everyone loved it, even Trevor couldn't stay off of the equipment... as seen in the picture below.  The foam pit was another had to do thing.   It is a definite go again place.

Then we went back to my folks place had some snacks, toasted the New Years with the children, tucked them into bed and watched t.v. and chatted in the new Year... 2011 can't believe that.

12 Days of Christmas, Bushka style

My parents, well my mom, does a 12 days of Christmas for the grandchildren every year. Here is a sample of what the days included.  Yes, she goes overboard every year but she LOVES it and the grandchildren LOVE it too.  It is a win-win deal.
